About Me
My name is Emilee Butler and I am a 23 year old artist living and working in Chicago, IL. I rent a studio space in the city to serve as my creative getaway from home and have launched myself into my passion, creating art in any spare time I have. I have been creating art virtually my whole life, and have developed a wide skill set with specialization in realism portraiture and figure study, as well as exercises in abstraction. Having forgone a practical degree in Biology in search of something more fulfilling, I completed the Premier Portfolio Program through Prima Materia Art Institute, facilitating my creative growth. I am working towards my ultimate goal of becoming a self-sustaining, full time studio artist.
